Need help building structures

I have a Bachman Amtrak Acela H.O. Train set. I want to build a layout for it. I have been seardhing for kits for skyscraper buildings, but can't seem to find any that will give me the look I want. i am looking for ultra modern architecture. Do you know of any companies that off these types of buildings, or do you know of anyplace that I can purchase plans to make them on my own.
I am also looking for plans to build a system to suspend around the perimiter of a room. Any info?

Sorry I can't give you any information, other than the obvious visit your local hobby shop. I've just gotten into model trains myself and hope to being building model villages so would love to hear any responses you get.
I did take my own advice and went to the only hobby shop I could find in this area. They had very limited supplies and the prices were through the roof. They had a lot of prebuilt buildings, tunnels and the like but I didn't see anything on setting up an entire layout. Fortunately, my son, who is in his 30's and a whiz at designing and building is getting interested in the trains I bought and has started talking about what "we" can do.
