Ok, not my last one, but my last one for today! Was just curious as to what everyone is up to, on the day before CHristmas. I will soon shut down my pc, and get started on the cooking. The big turkey is already in the oven, and its wonderful smell is filling our home. My gifts are all wrapped up and ready to go under the Christmas tree. I am hungry, but will try not to eat too much today, saving my apetite for tonight's delight. Our home will soon be filled with our loved ones, our good food, gifts for the children, smiles, laughter and some Christmas melody in the background...BOY DO I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!
A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!!!
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT CELEBRATE THIS GREAT HOLIDAY, HAPPY *BLANK* TO YOU (you fill in the blank)

I opened up my christmas present from my friend and neighbor as she got me this very nice gray sweater from JCPenneys and in about an hour and a half I will be heading to my parents house for dinner and watch the Eagles vs Cowboys game. Definitely looking forward to this afternoon.

Tonight the laptop has eaten two of my lengthy responses, so I will briefly say, we are alone, but not lonely this Christmas. We had Christmas early this week while my kids were in town. Tonight we went to a Christmas eve service, lit candles from the Christ candle, and had communion. Then we went out to look at some decorations. We had several days off at Thanksgiving, and so my husband will work tomorrow. I will go with him, and help entertain the nursing home residents. It will be a good day. Merry Christmas to my friends at myLot.

Well it's 11.52pm on Christmas Day here in Australia, and I tell you what, I'm completely pooped!
Santa definitely visited me and I'm very happy with what I go. I am also over the moon that my gifts were well-recieved by the people I gave them to.
I've been to Christmas lunch at my grandmothers, where I stuffed myself, and Christmas Dinner at my boyfriends house, where I also stuffed myself. I can feel the pounds slowly seeping into my thighs!
Overall, it was a wonderful day, and I'm really appreciative to everyone that was involved.

Well, Santa CLaus didn't bring many gifts to the grown-ups this year...not that we've been bad, but he was kind of short on money..LOL
But my 4 years old nephew got spoiled rotten! He got from us, a doctor's medical tray with all accessories, so now he's going around, wanting to hear everyone's heartbeats LOL, my mom gave him a train track, my dad gave him a Montreal Canadians zamboni with remote control, my stepbrother gave him a fireman's truck with an helicopter. I think he got some more, from his parents for sure, but i didnt' see them yet. Isn't good to be 4 years old at Christmas? LOL

Well, here in Montreal, we don't really celebrate Thanksgiving like in the US. So, yah, the good turkey is served at Christmas. But that's one of our traditions, don't think all the families do that. I know for a fact that most italian families here, serve fish and seafood on Christmas eve, for they don't eat meat at that period.

same here, i am going to spend my christmas with my both of my grandma's but mostly, im going to spend my time at my mom's mom. my dad's mom starts everything early. we go to her house like at 4, then we eat (we try not to eat too much), then we talk and laugh, like you said. then at 6, we go to my grandma's eat and stay til' 12, and then we usually come home like at 3/4.
