Has anyone heard of the accident they had on stage of the Wizard of Oz? Where someone hung them self and they filmed him hanging in the background? Do you think it is true?

If you come across trivia that sounds really wierd, like this, check it out on snopes.com. I did just that because I had heard that rumor before. it has been around at least since 1989. It is not true. The explanation for the weird looking image in the background while they are oiling up tin man is that there are birds loose on the set, borrowed from the Los Angeles zoo. It is either an emu or a crane with his wings spread. It is a fun site to look at. I hope your visit it soon.

I have to say I havent heard such a thing so I doubt there is truth behind it.I would need to see some facts .I mean its a very old film and all this time there hasnt been anything mentioned about it that I know of.

Yes it is true just after Dorothy meets the Tin man and the witch attacks them they skip off and in the background in the tree you see them swing and is hangging it is usually right when the add is about to come on....
