My son comes home from his dad's tonight and then in the morning i'm going to watch him tear into his presents, that's going to be the best. :) He's almost 3, so it's an awesome Christmas age lol.. After that, heading to grandmother's to spend time with all my family and then after THAT lol.. going to my boyfriend's families house for dinner and such. I wish we were able to be in Phoenix as well tomorrow. :( My boyfriends family is mostly down there.. but we are going down there in a few months. :) So what about you.. what are you plans. Today i have to finish TONS of baking.. making tons of cookies as presents for people. XD

that makes me think of scenes from the 50's where the children all play in the street.. and there isn't worries of maniac drivers.. or people waiting to steal your children. That'd be a happy time. :)

This christmas will be a quiet one this year. Just watching the TV and chilling out with the films and keeping myself occupied with the myLot community from around the world with thier fantastic discussions of life that are posted here. All the best for the new year.

Wow. 3 is an awesome age at Christmas time. My daughter is 16. We will have friends over in the morning to open presents with then a big dinner. After that is play with our new "toys" and be lazy. The day after Christmas the tree will come down everything else will stay up till after the new year we would leave the tree up too but our kitten is climbing in it and driving us crazy. Then my daughter leaves on the 27th to go to her Dad's halfway across the states (we are on the east coast he is in southwest). She will be gone for two and a half weeks. By the time she gets back I will be well into my seasonal job with H and R Block as a tax preparer. This is my first tax season as a tax professional. Kind of nervous. Hope I can remember everything! Well MERRY CHRISTMAS every one!

Hmmm.. how much training was involved in the H&R block job? I love doing seasonal jobs, i just got done working customer service and order entry for a call center here for Harry and David. :) I love that job. As for the tree.. we'll be losing ours pretty quickly as well. We have a couple of teenage kitties that like to try to get into it. o_O

What are you? :) I'm not of any religion myself, i just do the whole christmas thing, the holiday is just a big mesh of things now from the god-fearing celebrating it their way.. to the paganistic things that most people uses in their celebrations.

My christmas kind of sucked. My husband and i got into a really big fight cuz he was online flirting with girls on christmas eve. then he pushed me around but im pregnant so i was having pains all day for christmas. I wasnt able to spendit with my family cuz they are all in ny and im in alabama so we're too far away and we were broke so there wasnt much to give. so it was bad i guess. im glad its over. damn.

I'm going to try not to go insane, more then I already am :)
Oh lots of cleaning today and tonight, not only my house but my parents house. My mother is doing Christmas dinner so I have to go and make sure the house is clean. Of course tonight I will be up very late wrapping presents. Then tomorrow after an hour or two of sleep I will get up with the kid to share in giving gifts. That is the fun part. Then I will be on here till I'm dragged away to spend time with the family over at my mothers. Then as soon as I can escape I will be back on here.
If you celebrate Christmas then have a happy one and stay safe.

oi.. i have so much to do today as well.. i still have 5 different kinds of cookies to bake for these goody baskets that i'm making for everyone. There's a total of 12 different kinds of cookies going in them. @_@ I was a bit financially strapped this year so hopefully everyone loves their cookies lol.. Merry Christmas.. i'm going to get you fat. XD

My daughter is 4, and this year her dad & I decided to split Christmas day with her so that we can both have gift opening time on Christmas day. I had her Christmas Eve & Christmas morning, and she goes to her dad's at 1:30 until the morning of the 27th. Not crazy about sending her away at all, especially since she's had such a short period of time to play with her new gifts, but she really needs to spend some time with her dad too. The rest of my day will be spent with my extended family at my aunt's house.

I plan to go to my parents with the kids later today for dinner and then gifts. We have a lot of fun over there on Christmas and every adult has fun giving a few joke gifts each year. We almost always end up playing a game at some point since it is rare for all of us to be together for the day most of the time between work and just being busy
