WARS are fOR:
for business interests
-for a market to the armaments industry MIG's,F-16s etc.
-to secure trade routes
-for OIL and GAS
-for water
for personal interest
-to win election
OR TO PROVE THEIR SUPEREMACY
there is a saying in India,"only two reasons for wars - money or woman"!
but these days, many reasons may be pointed out as you did!
i think that even satisfying one's own ego may also lead to wars ......
