do movie previews convey the plot?

these days we are seeing more and more previews of movies! lot of previews are made to tempt us to see the movie. are the movies as good as they show us in previews ....? do the previews convey the actual plot or we see a different story in the actual movie ......?

Yeah.... at times the movie is quite different from the previews. But I think they give a rough idea about the contents.
