Is exams boon or Bane for students

i feel that exams are boon becauses it is the key factor proving the KNOWLEDGE of a person , it depends on the person and his view , when you feel good it is , wen your interest are in studies ofcourse you will feel the PLEASURE of studies , is it not ?

according to me exams are boon for the students as they get to learn many things as a result of exams....its exams only which tests the actual ability of the students and also the skills of student....
