Do you think Hillary has a chance for becoming our next president.

Hillary is a smart lady but I wonder if the world is ready for a woman president. The buzz word is a resounding "NO."

I'm not even from the US but I can for certain tell that no woman will ever win the elections for the presidency in any of the western civilisation countries in the near future. The mentalities have to change greatly for that to happen as this is still a men's world. And to prove that I ask:how many persons that have major fortunes are women? An the answer: very few to none.

I don't know. I heard when I was a young girl that no woman would ever be bishop in a church, and yet it has happened. This year we have our first woman speaker of the house, which means that if (and we never know) the president and vice president are unable to serve, she becomes president. It may, as you say, be a long time in coming, but I believe the day is nearer than we may think.

Well, if she becomes president, she will have to interact with world leaders and they are always concerned about who we elect as president as we are about who rises to power in other parts of the world. Of course, we can also view the US as being our "world." Apparently, my perception of "world" differs from yours. Thanks you for taking the time to comment.
