Quitting smoking..real options

Hey, I had been a smoker for the past 11 years. I started smoking when i was 17 and used to smoke upto a pack and a half per day until a month and a half ago.
My fiance had been nagging me to quit for the past six months, but i was one of those people who were strongly nicotine addicted and needed some form of support in the quitting process.
I read up on a few aids to quitting smoking and tried one of those. I used the medicine called Bupropion HCl (generically). It proved to be a wonder for me and really helped me a lot. I was surprised by the results. I quit smoking on my designated date and its been 6 weeks since i stopped.
Has any of you tried this medication or, broadly speaking, any supportive stuff to quit and what has been your experience with it, or are you the iron-will kind of a person who needs nothing to help him quit.
Let me know what you think about the whole thing.

YEah, I agree. It is a reall hard thing to stop if you are a heavy smoker. Its quite a misconception how addictive nicotine is. It is one of the strongest addictions to overcome.
Anyways, the medicine, Bupropion, that really helped by killing my urge to smoke to a great extent. I have heard of nicotine patches, gums that do the same thing and they have been found to work for some people.
I wish you luck in your quitting attempts:)
