Jesus Birthday was when....?

Um, just a quick thought I had. We all know that the 25th of december may not be the aniversary of jesus's birth. The Roman Catholic church moved it to coincide with a pagan festival (merge and conquer) and the real date has been lost for centuries.
But now astrologers are fairly certain that the bright star the three wise men saw was in fact a comet ( and they are fairly sure they know which on it was)Surely some really clever scientist with a really clever computer sit down and work out the proper dates (someting to do with a calander of heavenly bodies and locations at different times), or at least an estimate? at least give us the right month?
Would you like to know aproximately tyhe right time?

Someone must know the answer to this?!? I'm curious now too. That's a great question in my opinion. I hope that my reply bumps this discussion up and you get a real answer soon.

i have heard some talk about this but i dotn know of a real answers.
Do you have some info to share??? Come on dont keep us in suspense!! tell us!!Does anyone really know anyways? i mean it was that long ago can anyone actually be 100% sure??

I'm in no way, form or shape, religious but I'm fairly certain it is believed to be mid September sometime...different theologists and astronomers can't decided exactly what date though (some say 11th - imagine that, Jesus born on September 11!)
So is my memory going or am I reasonably close?? =)
