Hey, this is for all those people who are all by themselves this christmas. Unfortunately I am one of them. I know how sensitive of a time it is and how much being alone stresses me out.
So all you people who are alone on this day, I can relate to what you feel and my sympathies are with you

I'm alone because of a combination of choice and circumstance. After doing this huge road trip to hit up almost all of my family across the nation I got food poisoning from my sister's inlaws and have been admitted overnight. Since I'm a medic I messed with my vitals to make it seem worse that it is and convinced the doctor to kick everyone out and leave me alone.
The hospital's tv, my laptop, wireless and my cell phone. Not traditional but really ok with me right about now...

I'm sorry. I hope you get well really soon. You have all my sympathies on being alone on this day, as well as my congratulations on being rid of all the people who you didn't want to be with.
I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.

Yo! Like quite a good number of people out there (you included) I'm spending Christmas alone too! Lets not be sympathetic or anything, but rather lets spend this time to ourselves doing some self reflection and just knowing that whatever it is you are going through, you are never alone!

Yeah, nice thoughts.
I guess its the feeling of inability to share things face to face with people that makes it all the more worst. I agree that solitude is the best time for recollection, reflection and getting reacquainted with one self.
Thanks, Merry Christmas

I agree. I know, it is something inevitable. The timing of the loneliness is what causes it to seem more.
In the end, everyone has to get over it and move on with their lives. There is no other logical choice.
Take care.
