I finally saw the Nativity Story yesterday - it was GREAT! Very historically and biblically accurate (except for the compressed timeframe of the Maji and the flight to Egypt). if you want a good idea about what the first Christmas was really like, you must see this.

We have a church in our local area that put on a wonderful pagent. They take the story for the announcement of the pending birth to the crucifiction. Ir Is wionderful. They do it every yaer. It started with a small out doors scene with wooden donkey on wheels and wooden sheep. and has grown to over 300 performers and live goats, sheep and camel, donkey and llama. They have built a building to hold the pagent in and do not charge a fee. it is well worth seeing.
