Hey I'm just looking to find real witches and other pagan religions to connect to out there. I want to learn more about being a witch and what sort of religion you practice with it. Let me know. Thanks.

I actually combine Native American Spirituality with Wicca. I found Scott Cunningham books to be very well written and easy to understand. I highly recommend his books.

I hear that alot. People mixing beliefs. I will look into those books. I read once back when I was in high school. They seemed to be well written. Thanks!

Oh I know about not buying into other peoples **ap. Haha thats why christianity is not doing it for me...hmmm...haha. I was just looking for some help to get started...not anyone telling me what to do...I'm not very good at being told what to do unless its work I'm getting paid for!

Native American Spirituality and Wicca have many things in common, so it's very easy to combine them. I think everyone has to follow their own path. Don't do something just because someone tells you should. Just listen to your heart and conscience, they will guide you to what's right for you. If something doesn't feel quite right, take a second look.

I am a Witch and a Pagan but I'm not Wiccan...My personal path is a blend of old school Witchcraft, Buddhism, Vodou and a little Native American Spirituality...As far as what religions ppl practice with it/in combo type thing I think it can be anything really..I knwo many will disagree with that adn say "you cant mix religions" but the reality is, you can if YOU want to...There actually is a Christian Wiccan on here if i'm not mistaken and one of my bst friends is a Catholic Witch...ppl may think thats not right or possible but its not up to anyone but ourselves to define it ya know.

I understand the blending of religions and I believe that it can be possible. I also believe that alot of religions have alot more in common then they think. I wish more of the world could be more open minded about other religions! Its great to see that there are others out there that feel this way. Thank you very much. I right now am on a sort of spiritual quest of my own. Thanks for your input!

You are very right, many religions actually are very similar..I had a comparison chart I came across yrs ago online that was actually unreal..I wish I could remember where i foudn it because I'd love to post the link..it was quite interesting to see the similarities yet at the same time it was frustrating to know that even though there are so many common habits/beliefs/desires etc ppl still have the hatred that they do ya know..... My best advice to you as far as your quest goes is, read...alot..and dont let anyone make your choices for you..only you can decide what your path is going to be like ya know...and if it feels right to you then its right bottomline and poo poo on those who dont like it LOL they arent you :-D

Well if you ever do come across that link send it to me! That would be a great one to see! Yes that's what I'm working on right now. Getting books and reading. I love to read so it works out great for me! It's just finding the time to read! I know it will all come together for me at the end. I'm not seeking others opinons on what I should believe or do. I just like to hear their opinions about themselves. I'm alredy pretty set in my ways of what I believe. Its finding the religion that comes the closest to these, or just being atheist or "doing my own thing" in the end that will be the hard part to figure out!
