Yes. I was visiting my friend's dad at the hospice with 2 other friends. He was dying from cancer. While we were praying for him, he stopped breathing. We panicked and called the nurse. She told us to sing. At that moment, the only song that came to my mind was Amazing Grace. So we sang and he opened his eyes. He stopped breathing two more times and each time we sang, he opened his eyes after which he went to be with the Lord. It was quite a peaceful experience, nothing frightening except that we were not prepared for it. Also his family was not there yet - that's the only regret.

I watched my infant grandson die of kidney failure...was the hardest thing I have ever done. But I knew in my heart he was no longer in pain and was going to a better place...Every year we release balloons into the air on his b-day...our present to him.

yes my father in law who passed with cancer it wasnt very nice to see right before. It was so hard to see it happen to him or to anyone for that matter
