AMD or INTEL??

Hey guys, am Planning to buy a computer. Can u guys tell me the advantages and disadvantages of AMD and INTEL??? Am currently using AMD and have little knowledge about Intel Pentium. help me out!!!

Intel is working best for me... But I initially used AMD. Both are good.

Thanks for the reponse. Which do u think is more reliable?? Because i heard AMD gets heated up quicker than intel.

most reliable is Intel. I don't turn off my pc for 1 weeks sometime... and it never get heated. While AMD heats a lot.

By the way does anybody know whether AMD 3200+ is equivalent to Intel 3.2 Ghz??? Because my friend was telling AMD 3200+ shows up as 2.4 Ghz in Windows.. Can anyone please Clarify??

AMD : cheaper but getting hot faster INTEL : expensive but better quality for PC use

well I prefer AMD athelon for gaming otherwise Intel is best

Thanks for ur response. But any idea about AMD Turion. Turion or Athlon?? which is better??
