All dogs bite don't they? It's their nature. Biteing is also a form of affection for dogs, or even cats. If they bite it doesn't mean that they are being mean or angry. They also bite when they are playing, or they bite when they are teething as puppies, among tons of other reasons.

my dog has never bit me till now.but you must alwasys give your dof time in food.love your god. give it healthy food and it should be kept clean and the place where it stays should all so be clean and dont forgot play with your dog and take it for long walks.once when i wasplaying with my dog when it was eating food i just sat on it what it did was just growled.but if your dog is a one man dog then enver do this esspecially if your dog is not your best friend.while smiling to a dog you should never show your teeth.dogs take it as aggression.

My dog has bit my mother. He has never bitten me. I do not know why he did that. He also does not like young children. Everytime one comes up to him he starts to snap at them and then he tries to bite them. I guess he thinks they are aggervating or something. I think he would be more protective over me though.

I have played with my three dogs, they have never biten me.
although they were arguing and ready to bite each other, I tried to seperate them safely. when One is angry if he needs something or not obey to your command or your force. Speak calmly to them. Playing to them has to be careful, not to get near their teeth. If you love your dog, you have to never rub its teeth.

I have three dogs and one is too aggressive his name is Rocky. He has bitten me no of times. But he is loving and if some times we disturb him when he is too tires then he bites. But afterwards then he feels guilty of his act and appologies with us.
Animals have feelings and they feel bad when something wrong happens by them. But then one must beawere that they are animals and one must behave properly with them.

Did your dog nip you during playful times or BITE you in a rage of anger. There is a difference. If you were bit out of anger the dog would act differently by your reactions.
I would never keep a dog that bit. We have English Springer Spaniels and they are very well mannered in every situation. If there is something happening that dogs don't like...there are tons of ways that they can communicate without biting....
I would go over the situation and carefully take all aspects of what happened into consideration then make a decision of if you think this will happen again....could save you some misery in the long run if this dog bites you or someone else in the future.

It depends on the age of the dog. My dog will not bite me hard. However, he will "mouth" me if I'm doing something that's painfull to him or annoying. That is, he will very lightly bite me, just to let me know his discomfort. Would you hit someone or tell them to stop if you were teasing them? Probably. Train your dog better, or learn to read your dog's responses. Dogs are not humans, they are dogs. Their mouths are their hands.

No, my dog does NOT bite. Sounds like yours could use some training, and he needs to learn that it is not acceptable behavior. You can get books on training dogs, or try googling more information. Don't let him get into a habit of thinking that biting is ok. It'll only get worse.

our dog doesn't bite because my husband trained him when he was just a puppy. you just have to train him so he wont do the things that you dont want him to do. believe it or not, our dog's playmates are all children. hahahahaha im not kidding. he even has a friendster account to his name. u can even check it out. his account is gbetpangan@yahoo.com...
