homer Simpson food! We've got 'em for dinner tonight....usually put them in the oven with garlic and salt and 15 minutes before I pull them out cover them with honey bbq sauce.....any other ideas to surprise the family with than the usual??? We can get pork chops for $4.99 a kilo, big juicy chops too. That's cheaper than most other meats with lamb usually $6 a kilo and steak can be anything over $8 a kilo.

Here is a nice comfy meal that is sure to please. Tomato Pork Chops "These are sauteed pork chops smothered in a tomato sauce with fresh onion and bell pepper. It's a fairly quick and simple recipe. Try serving with rice." 4 servings INGREDIENTS 4 pork chops 1 onion, chopped 1 bell pepper - chopped, your color choice 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce garlic powder to taste salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS Heat enough oil to just cover the bottom of a large skillet over medium high heat. Dredge the pork chops in flour, add to pan and brown well on both sides. Remove chops and set aside. Add the onion and bell pepper and saute for 5 minutes, or until almost tender. Return pork chops to skillet and pour in the tomato sauce. Allow the sauce to start bubbling and then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes and season with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.

Put a small amount of oil in baking dish ,place sliced potatoes on the bottom of a baking dish cover with sliced onions put pork chops on top and cover with another layer of onions then potatoes sprinkle with fennel only a little as it can be very strong. Add about a cup of water and bake in a slow oven ,about 15 minutes before serving put the chops on top to brown a little. Watch the potatoes don't burn.

You can take flour, salt ,pepper and some powdered parmesan cheese and mix it together then bread the chops and fry them. Also is good for chicken or for beef stakes.
