I totally agree! It's better to know that you won't be spreading these fatal diseases around rather than regretting your whole life for not testing for it prior to marriage. Besides, it will create more comfort between you and your partner, which is always the best option. It's also an ethical thing to do, because you'll know for sure you won't have any risks of HIV.

What do you mean by "committees?" I would not agree to this if you mean this is state regulated, because I think that's a breach of privacy that I cannot accept. If my partner asked for us to be tested, then I would be more than happy to oblige; this is the person I would spend the rest of my life with, and it's important for us to know these things about each other. However, nobody outside of me and my partner have the right to demand this kind of information, in my opinion.
