Why do girls lie about their age?

Girls lie about their age and guys lie about their salary. This is because of the norms imposed on them by society. If a guy gets a paltry salary he will feel less masculine. Girls on the other hand know that the younger they are the more they are admired so they lie about it. But I have noted that men also lie about their age after 40.

I think everybody like to stay young and girls think that by telling the wrong age the other person might feel more attractive towards her.

They want to present themselves as young and cute always. So whenever you ask their age they will give you cute and young age, supposedly less than 1 to 10 years actual to their original age.

that's a myth, girls don't lie about their age, atleast not all girls i'm a girl and i'm telling you right now, i'm gonna be 24 this october. don't generalise all girls.

I have never lied about my age, what is the point? I am odviously not 27 lol. but in truth I have had men lie to me about there age. Maybe our whole society is in aging denial.

No person wants to look old. So prbably girls lie because they dont want others to think they are old.

Before it was a common thing for older ladies to lie about their age, but nowadays, not many of us care. Before, you hit 40 years old and you were considered ancient, but if you look at most 40 year old women these days, they really don't look their age and they don't give a damn if younger men like it or not. For myself, I'm only 25 going on 26, but I don't plan to lie about my age. It's a like it or lump it situation in my eyes. If someone is attracted to only my outer body they can move on anyways, I want someone to love my inner beauty as well, no matter how young or old.

Really, do they tell lie to us when it comes to their age..Well, I didn't notice that thing in my life..If any girl tell her age then it will be accurate otherwise she do not give response to you..She will try to divert the topic either..It's practically, i have observed..

Its not exclusive to girls lying about their age afterall i am sure males do the same sometimes!
