Christmas should be renamed shopping bonanza

I am sure there are lots of you out there who thinks 'Christmas' is a complete waste of time & a huge 'con' to many people, the reason being the commercial sector uses its religious meanings & appeal as a purely sales extravaganza.I dont want to sound patronizing but dont you feel its stupid when you hear these devout churchgoers year after year chanting phrases like 'joy to the world' when its the religion that they are following that is responsible for millions of people that are suffering in this world today.
