Yes i agree with you ..i am also a fan of ar rahman..
Ar rahman-the legendary music player,the asian mozart.He is an evergreen music composer.He is the greatest musician in india,and now he stepped towards world level.Now ar rahman's music reaches up to the lord of rings latest release.His latest music from tamil movie sivaji also became a hit.He also released 3 albums-pray for me brother,Ek mohabbath and jan gan man.He is the eklavya in indian music world.His first album vande mataram has the record of largest selling album in india.

We must understand that unlike other top music directors like shankar-ehsaan-loy,jatin-lalit,nadeem-shravan,etc etc..the whole music is coming from his head only...and if you consider other single MDs then they really r no match with him...and as he had once said ,the repeatetion is because is because all the tunes are coming from the same hand....but he is really a genious

yes, some of his songs are rehash of some older ones, but what's wrong in it?
There's some kind of freshness whenever i listen to his songs. They lokk authentic, and with a sense of grace thats hard to find in todays world of music.
I especially wonder how he got the tunes of dil se, saathiya, bombay and rang de basanti.They have the rocking effect and at the same time have melody embedded in such a nice fashion....

ya i heard the songs 4m guru..the beat in the song barsore is relevant to the beat in the song veppamaram in saamy..but do rememer his song "khalbali" in "rang de basanti" and other 2 songs are being nominated to oscar awards..
