I have watched the movie twice already but then i found your topic and i remebered how wonderful the movie is so i will watch it again tonight if not this Sunday.LOL! I like the drama, the story, the actors, the story and the love. But i think reading the book will definitely make it all worthwhile. Books contain so much that the movie can portray...but sometimes you need to see the movie to visualize the story being told in the book.

This is one of my favorite movies, but I loved the book even more. I fell in love with the book in high school and was disapointed as all of Nicholas Sparks other books were turned into movies, but the Notebook was over looked. I got so excited the first time I saw a preview. The movie really did turn out to be amazing, but still the book is better.

Yah, most of the time, the book will always turn out nicer than the movie.... I haven't read the book... But in my opinion, it goes the same with other books, too... Like Harry Potter, and such.. I guess it's because our imagination could reach greater heights than what is attainable in reality (movies)... Or it may be due to the fact that we have different interpretations.... One interpretation may be better than the other... :)

My husband and I just rented the DVD tonight... I've been wanting to see it for so long. What an amazing movie. We just loved it. It's so heartfelt. I'm still tearing up just thinking about it. Now, I absolutely want to read the book... I feel that I've been missing so much!!

I have seen this movie and its a good romantic movie. It shows an unconditional love, i hope there are still people who love like that even if they was separated for a long period of time they find time to get back to each others arm.

yah, you should... it's a must-see, and a must-read... ;) some say the book's better though... but i guess they always say that... like in harry potter books and movies, and many others.... although i'm not sure if you're the type who'd like movies like the notebook. :) but i recommend it. :D
