HI friends,
can anyone help me how to attach files more than 10 MB in size. I have some video clippings which i want to send to my friends through email as atachments, but i am not able to attach the files as they are more than 10 MB. Is there any email provider which can allow attachments more than 10 MB? Kindly suggest me a solution for this problem.

You may just send the files through some sites that offer file-sharing services like yousendit.com. Yousendit lets you send files that are too big for e-mail. Each of your friends will receive an e-mail containing the link to the uploaded file. You may also try uploading the files to sites that offer free digital media hosting services like putfile.com.

You can use Pandora which is a file splitter software programme. This is a free software and you can download it from download.com. Search for Pandora in the search box at download.com and you will be taken to the downloads page. You may be asked to register your name. Register your name. It is free. You will be amazed to see the list of thousands of free and shareware programmes listed there. I am a habitual downloader of the freewares from that site. Go ahead.

I think it's because your email provider have a limit of capacity. Just change for another email will be ok. If you don't wanna change for another email, you may download a compression software, such as winrar, but it seems it can't be compressed too much. Or you can change the video fomat, this may work. hope this can help you.

I dont know of any way to attach a file that large into an email but what i could suggest is uploading the file and sending the link to whoever you are trying to send it to so they can download the file from the link. You can use a site such as:
yousendit.com
zshare.net
or any other site that allows you to upload files and share them! Hope this helps!

Well there is no probelm for sending more than 10 MB size file. I think you should signupi 30gigs.com mail account which allowed you bigger uplode features and works fast than regular mails and video hosting site.
You can also use http://www.yousendit.com/ site which allowed you 100 MB size file to your friends e-mail. You can also find more sites too.

If you and your friend is online at the same time, you can use gtalk or yahoo msngr to send the file. yahoo msngr doesn't work behind firewall but gtalk does.

Instead of emailing it, I would simply upload the file and send the link to my friends. I always do this. It's much faster!
Here are a few sites:
www.sendthisfile.com
www.yousendit.com (the one I use)
www.megaupload.com
Once you have uploaded the file, it will give you a link which you can email to you friends. Hope this helps!

If the video clippings are in a cd, try ripping it using media player and try to save it in a moveie player format. in that way the video file would be converted into a smaller file type.If im not mistaked a 700MB file may be converted into as low as 2 to 4MB only. In that way you can be able to send it through your e-mail. theres nothing you can do with the limit of the email of 10MB so the on;y way is to convert the file to become lower than 10MB in which one of it is the process thatI just mentioned. Hope this would help.

I had a similar problem coz i used to send applications to my friends thru e-mails and many time it wudn't get attached.
I heard of online storage such as Rapid Share, then what i did was to upload the file into rapidshare and send my friends the download link, they were quite happy to downloaD the file directly instead of downloading split files and the trouble of joining it again to install the Applications.
Try this yourself..

to attach files more than 10MB, i think its better you to make the file in zipping format. and use third party email or provider to up load it. you can find these mail provider through search engine. and in your email, just write link into your third party provider so that your receiver can download your file on there (another browser of your mail provider)

There is a website www.yousendit.com
It will let you upload files greater than 10 MB onto it and then will send a link to any email address you want to send the file to. The file will be available for download by that person for 7 days. Its all a very easy process.
Also videos you can upload on www.youtube.com
This was your email addresses also wont get crowded out.

I would suggest going to the web site, yousendit.com and doing it like that. They allow you to send people files that are over 10 megs.
