Divorced parents that are friends, isn't that wierd to you

My mom and dad are divorced about a 2 years now but they are the biggest of friends in fact since they got divorced their relationship got better. Now my mother is married again and my dad is not. It feels so aqcuired to have them in the same house when he cames to visis cause I call both of them dad. i'ts just very wierd. do you think this behaviour is normal or am i missing the whole point here?
