I remember Benny Hiil. I thought his humor was extremely stupid. I preferred things like Monty Python, and Rowan Atkinson's things, humor that played alot with irony. Benny's humor was mindless drivel.

oh~~~I like him~~

I absolutely loved watching him when I was a kid! Apparently, I could be heard throughout the house laughing at his show & I wanted to be one of the women who got on the show when I grew up (I was a strange kid, so what?). Unfortunately, I can't really stand to watch more than 10 minutes of it at a time, but I can finally understand what he was saying on the show (I couldn't understand what anyone said in the '80s). He was funny because he was lecherous (but I always hoped he was a nice guy off-screen).
