With more emphasis on education today,teachers are honored and respected in our country.What's the most respected occupation in your country?

I would say anyone in the army/military would be one of the higher respected groups here. Teachers also would be up there on the list

High-paying jobs or profession is practically most respected in our country like doctors, engineers or bank managers. But, in my own opinion... there's no great or low profession or job, every job deserves respect as long as it didn't harm anyone, it might be a helper or janitor.

Three profession are considered respected in our country Defence services, Teaching and Medical (Dr.) but not in that order

University professors are probably the most respected professionals in the US. On the other hand, elementary and high school teachers are not as much respected.
