Actually, I have an insomnia... for me, insomnia is psychological. The reason why we ca't sleep at all is because we think of lot things like our work, pressure or problems. My auntie advices me to drink milk before going to bed for me to be able to sleep. maybe your gf can try it. but it didn't work for me because, my mind's active thinking about tomorrow. I'm not anxious of tomorrow but exited about what will happen tomorrow. Maybe, she can get herself tired before going to bed and her body will naturally wanted to come to sleep. Then avoid things that will let her active at nights like going to nighouts everyday or just chatting with friends late at night! I hope this would help! and considering about the plants that will help? I don't have any ideas about it yet!

Has your girlfriend tried Melatonin? It's a natural remedy that can be purchased in any health food store or pharmacy. It comes in a pill. Lavender is also good. Moisten a cotton ball with lavender oil and put it under the pillow.

Valeriana helps. It´s a natural plant extract which relaxes your mind and body. A few drops of it 1 hour before bedtime will help combat insomnia. The dosage is individual though, it depends how severe insomnia is. It doesn´t matter if you take more than recommended, overdosing is impossible. Hope this helps.

Have you tried catnip tea or Cammile tea?
