does anyone of you tried to drink an alkaline water for health?

I'd like to share this health info. Alkaline water are good for health and reduces weight loss; it also improves health of diabetic person. Have you tried to drink this kind of water, I have just surfed it from the net but I didn't in fact knew if this is true? have you tried it? does it really works?
