quitting smoking doesn't happen overnight. so, don't rush yourself to it. lessen the stick you take per day. this will introduce your body to it's new environment-lesser nicotine per day. you can lessen it by week, too. depends on you actually. keep a track of it. but first, you should have the desire and the will to keep you going. think of reasons why you wanna quit and do it because you want to stay healthier for those people.
