Guys, I'm kinda confused about the earning system here, I tried posting around 100 messages, mostly 4 liners and I got US$0.60 for that and on the next day, I posted around 37, and I got US$2.01. There is something odd there. So, I figure it out, the US$2.01 belongs to the 100posts and the 37posts to US$0.60. I can assure you that the messages are 4 liners or more and I feel it's all quality posts.
Can anyone clarify this? Would my earnings today reflects on the day after tomorrow?

How did they find that the next day you are going to post 37 posts beforehand so as to provide you .6 dollors for tomorrow? It seems a bit implausible to me. Perhaps there were other factors that might have influenced your earnings on those two day.

In addition to what a lot of the others have posted, please consider the following. Nobody knows exactly how we are paid, MyLot does not reveal that. From my experience, though, the quantity (as in 4 lines) does not count for much. The quality is what counts. Also how others rate your responses count, whether you got any best responses, etc. all factor into it. Another factor is how many people there are responding on the day you post. If you post on a day that there are a heavy number of posters, your posts do not receive as many $'s as on a day when there are less posters.

If you go to compare your posts and earnings on a daily basis you will be just confused. Most probably there is no specific cut off time to calculate the earnings for responses.
So the best thing is to post descriptive respnses of at least four sentences and to calculate your earnings on a weekly basis. My posts are 438 and earnings are $15. I have seen a uniformity in my earnings.

Hi Jose. I think I should agree with you, rather than basing our earnings on a daily basis, why not just do it weekly then.
Thanks.

It is not possible that $2.01 belongs to 100 posts and $0.60 to 37 posts because earning is updated in every 24 hours. So this mistake can't be possible. I have joined this site a week back & i was also quite confused about earnings. But now its ok. The day when you earned $2.01 for only 37 posts, it may be possible that some of your responses would have been rated best so you earned more whereas the other day, there was no best response from you.

Hi sheddi, I think I only have one best response, so I think as explained by many users here, it take time for the site to update, so some of the posts you earned will be carried over the next day. I really doubt that my post of 37 posts would earn so much at US$2.01 without pictures. All my responses are all the same. Some long, some short, some 2 liners, and a few really really long.

ya actually i am also bit confused about this because earlier my balance was $0.05 then next time when i checked it was $0.33 but when i checked after few minutes my total was reduced to to $0.18. I don't know how it happens.

I think some of the discussions you posted got deleted due to spam, duplicates, rules being broken and so on. Anyway, as a tip, it is usually safe to post where that discussions collected about more than 50 replies. That should be safe from deletion. It is really pretty tough doing a search for duplicate topics.

Hi Amith,
I believe that earnings for some of the 100 messages that you posted on day 1 got credited on day 3. This all depends on the posts you make, discussions you are involved in and the most important factor is how worth is your response. Just keep concentrating on qualitative posts.

I think that these guys of mylot gives u earnings depending on the kid of topics u r discussing, as I discussed few general topics and I didnt get any eranings on that, ur responses should also be according to the discussions. It shouldnt be like just responding in yes,no. Got the point

Yes the system is quite sophisticated [translation = ODD] but I think if you're posting quality discussions you run the risk of having better payouts as a result.

What a person earns today here on myLot, will be reflected in tomorrows earnings. And if anyone could figure out the Earnings system here, this site would not be so interesting then, would it?
