I am trying to loose some weight. So some people suggest to me to use olive oil instead of palm oil, while other said it's ok just to use palm oil. I'm in a bit confused. What is the difference between palm oil and olive oil. Or is there other cooking oil that is good for people who are on diet ?

olive oil be good... try to minimize cooking foods with oil use as to have a very effective diet. try steamed, grilling , or baking foods either.

I think that palm oil has more calories per ounce than olive oil but I could be wrong.
Her's a tip. When you have to cook using oil, and if you are frying, like eggs or something, use a spray bottle to mist the oil into the pan, just like that product valled "Pam". The less oil you have to use the fewer calories from fat you consume. That will speed your weight loss.

Oleic acid, a so-called free fatty acid, is the main component of olive oil. This acid was found to contribute to feeling full and remained in the stomach longer than any of the other oils found in foods we consume...so you might lose more weight if you cook foods with olive oil.

I heard olive oil is good for your heart and low calorie. I use Pam sometimes to keep food from sticking to the pan.
