Bathing Dog During Winter.

My mothers friend recently told me that you should never bath your dog during the winter time, she said that dogs skin produces oils that protects them from getting too cold too fast and from getting flaky skin. I understand that, but my dog really needs a bath and i cannot wait until it gets warmer out. is there anyway i can give him a bath? any special shampoos?

You can bathe them during winter - the deal with the special oil they produce is that you shouldn't wash them too often or your dog will slowly stop producing this oil & will end up with flaky skin & scruffy, scraggly hair!
