I'd probably have to agree. The directing was superb and the cinematography was no short of perfection. To me, it seemed more like a song, a dream, or a poem, rather than a film. It was so visually enticing, and haunting; it left me thinking about it, dreaming about it, for days after I watched it. Sofia Coppola really is very, very talented.

I truly loved the movie AND the book. It left me really wondering why the Lisbon sisters were driven to such actions. The movie was incredibly fresh and beautiful to watch. I haven't always been impressed with the director's work but this movie was her best. (in my opinion)
