Do women get angry when asked for age. If they do why do you think that is.

There was a joke in Readers' Digest:
The best 10 years of women's life is 18 to 19 years!!
It is quite true majority of women would not like to disclose their correct age. Probably they love their life and they love to be young throughout. Though it is not possible, times immemorial, women still continue to believe that they are young always. There are graceful women, even when they are aged, look gorgeous. It is not important to look beautiful, it is through heart one can beam their greatness and inner beauty.

Thanks. I agree with your comments. Inner beauty only counts. I also cant undersand why some women would want to say lesser age even though I am a woman myself. I dont have any problem saying my age. Cos I personally feel that being old is being matured and being matured has a lot of good effects. Do you know my granny says she is 76 but truly she is 86. If she is 76, she should have had her eldest child when she was 9 yrs!!!

I think perhaps there is a little bit of vanity in some women who don't want people to know how old they are. I personally don't care who knows how young I am, and so am prepared to admit that I am 55 but will turn 56 before the end of this month. LOL

I also heard somewhere that women should not be asked what the age is .This is because they have a natural weakness towards looking good . If the real age is known by others they may be considered old . They don't want to look old .
This may be wrong thinking on the part of such women but we should honour this sentiment and avoid asking the age .

I am not sure about other countries but here in Australia until a few years ago when the media reported something it was "a woman aged xx years" but if it was a man then it ws reported as "a middle aged man" or "a businessman" and nothing about their age. A lot of women would say that if they were ever asked their age, they would say they were much younger. LOL
