did any one from India receive my lot payment?

I just wanna understand how to receive payments from paypal to INdian account.
What is the legal process involved? Is it safe to get check from paypal or will Indian banks like citibank accept paypal checks we receive in Dollar etc?
If there is any one from India who have this experience kindly help people like me to understand the process.

I have received payments from myLot via Paypal. As Paypal sends check through Citibank in Indian Rupees, I think it is already going through the normal banking procedure. But I have heard that it is not right to get paid directly by any system which hand over the equivalent Cash. That means you are not declaring your income. So I believe it is better to get INR checks from Paypal.
