Engg are more innovative to find new new technologies...Also in medical field...His influence in medical field cant be avoided...Enggrs hav strong root in hospitals because they are developing the diagnosing apparatus...
But the doctors are using some records which are written by some others to cure a patient... they were not more innovative as enggrs for discovering new areas...
Doctors needs enggr in back to help him...

Let me begin with ..
I am an engineer ..
And I say that medical is difficult.
Reasons are ..
. In engineering, suppose you are designing something.. or inventing something.. or working on a model ..
and suppose that didn't work out.. then what??
You can try it once more !! ..
But in medical its not like that ..
If you fail in treating one patient .. that would lead to loss of a life .. not just another project . .
Also..
. Getting admission to an engg. college is easy.. while its the same case in Medical..
. Engineering is only of 4 years.. while Medical is of 5 years..
. You can pass engineering papers or exams by studying on last 2 days..
But in Medical you will have to cram those things for rest of your life, because you will have to implement those in life.. on patients .. Real time models..
Am I right??

you are right but let me tell you this thing.
In engineering suppose you have to design a bridge. You designed one. Then there was a fault in there and the bridge broke. Then not one but thousands of people will lose their life.

i think engineering is more tough and as it has reached it's saturation point and there are peole who have drooped years to get through IIT and still waiting so it's gradually shifting burden on private colleges.

well in my personal opinion the engineering is more difficult coz i am an engineer and i know that most of the thingsand subjected we studied were not actually present in front of us and that we have to assume them and their surroundings

it is always engineering because i am an engineer. i lost control while doing my b.tec. it was okey for 1st and 2nd year.3rd year onwards i begin to understand what is enginnering.there are lot of exams and also total papesr of 52 or more including labs. Doing lab s very funny and all i do was an experimenrt called chatting and sleeping. S o as an engineer myself i give some advise- dont ever go for engineering
also after become an engineer he has to work day and night also have to awarre latest technology. so i m telling for ur goodness

i think medical is tougher than engg
in engg u have to read less and apply more
but in medical u have to read much b4 u go on applying
in engg u can pass the exams by studying during the last moments but in medical u need to study during the entire semester
in engg if some design fails then it may or may not cause the end of life but in medical practice u r responsible for the treatment that u give to anyone
u r considered just as an engg after engg but after medical people call u the god

Very tough question.....
hmmmm what to say?
i am an engineering student in my opinion medicine is tough one. Its easy to enter into engineering but its not the case with medicine the entrance exam is very tough. The entrance exam itself is very tough so think about the main field.. Its always hard work and determination that makes things easy so with everlasting hard work and determination its easy for any to study any field easily..... and more over the medicine is quite natural not like engineering.. in engineering you are exposed practically when you are into the job only though we do practicals in laboratories it hasnt helped any thing for me upto now.......

i took up engineering not medicine. i really can't say what field is more difficult because it depends on someone's perception. if one finds technology fun and studying diseases difficult then that would make the medical field more difficult.

The medical profession is a growing profession, there are a variety of options and them doing something so good and helpful would make me proud of my child. There's such a rewarding satisfaction knowing that you've saved someone's life, or kept them from getting sick, or helped them get better. Plus, my worst subject was anything having to do with science, so I'd want them to have the option that I didn't :)
Ultimately it is up to my child to choose the profession he/she wants, and I will be proud of him/her no matter what he/she does!

As nothing is easy in life, both of them engg and medical are difficult in its own way.If you are dedicated to clear them you find it easy,if you feel it's difficult then it is indeed difficult. To face them depends on what is your height of patience, tolerance, acceptance, capability, acceptability etc.Engineering consists of formulaes, derivations, equations etc where as medical is full of terminology. Now it depends whether you are good in mastering concepts or by hearting theories.Overall i can say is both are mirror image.
