What would shadow damage feel in RL?

Like the title asks, what do you think shadow damage would feel like in real life? Obviously fire damage would as if you were burning.. duh. Frost damage would be a heavy hit to chest that chills to the bone. But what would shadow damage feel like? A headache? lo.Also what do you think arcane damage would feel like? For some reason I see arcane damage as electricity, but different. Not really a shock, but a painful tingling sensation.

If one remains in home for days together in shade, no sunlight, total darkness, the health will be effected..

I imagine shadow damage to be akin to cancer. You know you've got something because you don't feel quite right, but you can't pinpoint precisely what it is or what is causing it. Yet, the destruction is occurring "quietly" in the "background" and rapidly spreading.

I guess it's more of like an emptiness inside. Like a dank feeling of loneliness pressing on you like guilt. When describing it physically, I guess it can be similar to an LBM like what I'm having right now. lol!
