Would you spend a lot for your weeding (ceremony, reception, gowns, etc)? Or would you rather spend more on honeymoon?

You may be surprised at this answer but you don't really need to spend for your wedding or honeymoon. Of course, you have to spend for the license fees and other legal fees but you may need not spend for the wedding and feast. The important thing in marriage is the testimony. The simpler the better. An old sister once said, the simplest marriage is the signing of the contract, which is that the only thing that makes it official. The Bible only says "Let marriage be held in honor and the bed undefiled." Will a grand wedding make a prenant bride more honorable? Neither will a simple wedding make a virgin bride less honorable. The honeymoon is the time spent by the newlyweds in sweet harmony before their eventual disagreements. This also does not need any spending, any place and any food is sweet for the newlyweds as long as they are together. Do you agree? I would rather save all those expenses for the new life together.

Hard to choose but I want my wedding to be REALLY REALLY memorable. Spend a lot, maybe not. I think it can be memorable without spending too much. But it also depends on what my husband to be wants.lol

So you would spend more on the wedding, I suppose?! Yeah, not spending too much but it's just choosing where to put your money more on.

if i am given a certain amount of money to budget for the wedding and honeymoon, i would definitely spend more on the honeymoon... ideally, i would like a simple wedding with few close friends and relatives, then spend most of the budget on the honeymoon, i love to travel and i would like to go to places where i haven't been before...

I think spend only in important things. Simple weeding is already fine. Inteads of spending a lot on the weeding, be practical and save the money for the future of your family. The money you spend in the weeding now will be gone after the weeding with no returns. If you spend it to put up a family business you can generate income for your family.

Yes.. In India we spend a lot of money on our wedding and make it as grand as possible.. The more we spend, the more our relatives will bless the couple..

i will spend more on honeymoon because instead of waisting money on others it's better to spend it on urself and ur feelings which will make ur marriage more beautiful.

This actually depends on the budget. But let's say I have to choose one, I think I would spend most of the budget on the wedding. Because wedding happens only once and I really want it to be memorable. For the honeymoon, if we are really short of budget, we can always have a holiday whenever we have extra money later on. Besides, when you are with your loved one its like honeymoon everyday anyway.(;)

I would let my wife-to-be decide on that matter, but for me I would spend more on honeymoon, go to places where we can spend quality time and the most unforgettable moment of our lives.
