Is it fair to keep dogs in hot climates?

When i live in Singapore many expats used to bring their hairy dogs from the cold countries they were from. Singapore is a very hot country, do you think it's fair for dogs to be taken to such a climate or should they be left at home with a new owner?

dog can be kept anywhere but one has to give them that environment which they are habitual of..same as human beings are ..if we are not giving proper condition ..means we are torturing them

I think that dogs can adjust to climate just like people can. Couldn't a person cut their dogs hair off until they do adjust?
Personally I don't think that it's fair to a dog to make a change that is that drastic ... but as you have already stated, people do it anyway.

I think if you really want to move them you should give them options. Maybe you should make sure he has a cooling area to go too. I would not bring him somewhere that is too hot for him. Maybe if he has long hair bring him to a grooming office to get him shaved. That will help him stay alot cooler.
