A memory card for the Canon 400D?

Which kind of memory card would be best to buy and where could i purchase it at the lowest price?

I would suggest if you can afford it getting a high speed card like the SanDisk Ultra 2. 1GB should be about $25 and they go up to 4GB for around $100. They have a really fast write speed so the camera doesn't take as long to write to the card hence it is ready for the next shot sooner (which is really nice for love/moving subjects)

I went for that kind but got a 2GB for £20. It's getting imported from China, they cost £90 in Jessops! No wonder Jessops aren't making money.. Thanks for the advice!
