who has an iPOD?

and what model is it? what do you think should a first time user like me buy? i love music and mp3 players but havent bought an ipod before. what is the best ipod i could buy that the least money? thanks guys! ipod design rocks!!! =)

I've got an iPod Nano 8gb, i got it on my birthday :) I don't think there is an ideal first time user iPod, they all have the same interface (except for the shuffle). I consider the iPods with screen really easy to use. The shuffle is even easier: Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Volume and the Shuffle Switch. If you're not sure you'll like iPod, buy the shuffle, that way you won't lose much money, but i doubt you'll regret buying one ;)

wow! good for u! maybe i'll just wait for someone to give me an ipod. that will lessen the decision-making process on my part, lol

i dont have an ipod but i heard that the NANO is the best for first time users. if u want that can play video, there's also a 5th gen ipod for that -- with a higher price tag, of course
