Should Turkey become part of the European Union?

There is much discussion here in Europe on whether Turkey should be allowed to join the European Union. It's getting more heated all the time. What is your opinion on this?

i dont want Türkiye to join european union.because Türkiye doesnt need it.Türkiye has still powerfull ecnomy and sources.
in my opinion Türkiye shouldnt join European Union

If Turkey wants to be apart of the EU then yea they should be allowed to be apart of it. If other countries are allowed to be in it so should Turkey. It's not like a secret club.
