Is it fair to send Irfan Pathan back home in the middle of the tour?

Indian team management has decieded to send Irfan Pathan back home because of his poor form. now the question is what do they say for Sehwag and Jaffar and for last whole series even Dravid and Sachin has not played well. so why only Irfan sent back and not Sehwag if not all i have discussed? Irfan was doing well in bowling then Chappel started experiments with him for sending him up in order and that too for so may times and now he is neither a perfect batsman nor a bowler. please have your say on it.
