surveyupdate ????? a scam?? for real? why do ads say one thing but not do?

I have been looking around the net to find survey sites to join and eventually make some money I found this one and started to join it gave me a list of ten sites to register with so i would receiver from many market research co.'s well as i went do the lis 6 were all identical same surveys company I didn't pay and 3 could not open.. They said in the ad and their writing make money and register in these co.'s Has any one joined this and found it good ?? may be but when what they say and what they do are different I wont join any comments
