Islam is derived from a word "Salam" which means "PEACE". In Holy Quran it is explicitly mentioned that "There is NO compulsion in Religion". But it is also a bitter fact that overwhelming majority of Mullahs is nowadays presenting Islam as "World's Most Horrible Religion". The saddest part of the story is that even most learned and moderate considered scholars are attributing horrible doctrines towards Islam. Just few examples are given below: 1: Apostasy and Holy Quran! Compare Holy Quran with Mullah's horrible doctrines at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3dVGSgmf84 2: Is Osama Bin Laden Right or Wrong? Watch video clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CV1qZsoVQw 3: Does Islam imposes death penalty on Apostates? Watch a video clip at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdJnFsKfcoE 4: Will Non-Muslims be allowed to preach their religion in an Islamic State? Watch a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwCn-IT_zZA 5: Mullah's World Order (Type of World the Mullahs striving for) Watch the video at : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsTpL1iDc1I

Islam is to believe in God , his prophets ,his angels, decree of fate ,and the Judgment day. Islam is a religion that tell us to be honest ,love each other , be cooperative ,work hard to achieve our goals while believing that God will always help us .it's the religion of leniency and mercy . it prevents us from lying ,killing ,cheating, acting bad with people . it urges us to respect our parents ,help poor people , to sympathize with orphans , to not harm animals .

It is unfortunate but a religion is only as good as its followers. The crusaders butchered christians as well as "infidels" in there quest to liberate Jerusalem. The "prophets" earlier writings in the Koran are at odds with his later killing of Jews because they did not see the light his way. Much of current Islam is not being taught the early teaching of "Prophet" instead concentrating on the later teachings of Jihad and intolerence. If the "masses' wished to, and actually knew what the Koran taught they could abandon going to the radical mosques and find a mullah that follows there belief.

All religions propogate peace and islam is no different. It is only some leaders who propogate their own beliefs in the guise of religion and mislead and misguide the believers. Such leaders should be shot or hanged. I firmly believe whatever maybe your religion your country which feeds you comes firstOne cannot livein a country as its citizen and avail of all the benefits and support another country because of religion that is being a TRAITOR to your country.

These mullahs are bent on destroying world peace. And see what kind of Fatwas they issue in India. For example 1. It is Haram to invest in Insurance. 2. It is forbidden to have mobile phone. 3. giving polic vaccination is against Islam And these mullahs are issuing these fatwas for none of the betterment of Islam.

Islam is a monotheistic religion based upon the teachings of Muhammad, a 7th century Arab religious and political figure. It is the second-largest religion in the world today, with an estimated 1.4 billion adherents, known as Muslims.[1] Linguistically, Islam means to submit, and refers to the submission or total surrender of one's self to God (Arabic: ????, Allah). Thus, a Muslim is "one who submits to God".[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam

Our religious clergy is steeped in the past. Times of changed beyond recognition. Women have gained both freedom and a status in the society that the clerical Islamists fail to comprehend. In the first place there are too many Maulanas and moulvis. Their knowledge of Islam is limited to the school of Deoband in India. Deoband failed to read history otherwise they would have known that Islam's centre of gravity had moved to the Ottoman Turks' capital Constantinople where ut stayed for five centuries. More changes have taken place in the world. The spirit of Islam is that it has come for the good og men and women and not for men and women for Islam. Two thousand years ago the Prophet Isa ibn Maryam (AS) had smashed the hold of the priests by declaring that Sabbath was made for man and not man for Sabbath. Women need not fear interference by Mullaism in their strive for respect and an honourabe plave in Muslim society.

yeah i agree with you that because of some idiots we are facing problems.as ISLAM only teaches peace and brotherhood. as stated: IF WE ARE IN A WAR AND SOME ONE TELLS US WE WANT PEACE AND END THIS WAR, IT BECOMES BINDING ON US TO END THE WAR AND HUG THEM WITH LOVE AND ACCEPT THE BROTHERHOOD- now tell me which religion tells us that other than ISLAM and we can prove everything written in the holy book QURAN scientifically and no other book can be proved 100% other than QURAN.

You are right. Especially in the Asian countries, most of the people don't understand Arabic and as such they do read Quran but without understanding it. They are therefore forced to accept what the so called maulvi's tell them. I do agree that there are quite a lot of learned maulvi's also.

I believe the problem is in your country and government, u can look at other countries who have islam, christians and jewish living in them, ex: north africa, and some of the middle eastern ones, and indonisia, and these things do not happen, I think u need to be opened minded about how to get along with other religions in your country, and maybe start with educating yourself first before you attack anouther religion.

what i believe is that Islam is a very peaceful religion, it teaches people to handle everything with peace than start fighting. i don't think any religion i thins whole world wants to make us fight between us and let us die just like that.if religions follow the gods, there can't be any god who lets his people die in misery and pain. thats what is core of Islam as i believe. but there are always some who don't believe in anything and just try to take advantage of every situation that arises.and i hate them .

THere are few people in this world that brings bad name to their own religion and that doesn't mean that the whole religion is bad. No religion preaches violence as far as i know. But certain stupid, mentally ill people teaches violence in the name of a religion thus bringing bad name to it.
