What about when you are born in 24/12// 25/12 - One gift or two?

Hi. I think this is a interessting discussion so I opened this topic.
Supposing that your friend has been borned 24/12 or 25/12. It's his birthday. Should you give him 2 gifts (one for each special date) or just one? I have a friend that hates his birthday date, he is from 24-12 and every year, recives just one present.

My birthday is Dec. 25 and I always get the one gift. One year I gave a friend one gift and said it was for both birthday and Christmas (her birthday was in June). She thought that wasn't fair, then she realized that she was doing the same thing to me all the time. I get 2 gifts from her now. It's very hard to have birthdays around holidays.

I don't have a friend whoses birthday falls on christmas but my mother's does. She told us growing up she hated it because she would get one gift. The gift would be for her birthday and christmas.
So us kids decided that she deserved one gift for christmas and one for her birthday.
So every year we buy her two gifts and she's really happy about it. We don't spend alot but she says it's the thought that counts and she really loves getting the seperate gifts.
Makes her feel like she's not getting cheated out of her birthday or christmas.

The right way should be give 2 gifts but the people give only one to save money. If you borned on this days you can Make a party after or before and maybe you can receive 2 gifts. Or you can ask for the person that will give a gift, to give something good and useful that is not so cheap.
