well i like rap music and here is the defination of rap music..i got it from internet..
the culture of hip-hop has been the source of dozens of words and expressions in American English, of which rap is one of the most familiar. The word is probably a development ultimately of rap meaning “to hit.” It shows up in the early 1900s in the extended meaning “to express orally,” as used by so notable a figure as Winston Churchill in 1933. Over the next few decades it came to mean “to discuss or debate informally,” a meaning that was well established in the African-American community by the late 1960s. A decade later the word was applied to an evolving style of music characterized by, among other things, beat-driven rhymes of an often improvisatory nature. The slang that is integral to the lyrics of rap continues to be a source of borrowings into colloquial American English; recent examples include chill, meaning “to calm down,” and dis, meaning “to show disrespect to.” These are but the latest examples in a long series of such borrowings from Black English stretching back a century or more, many of them directly from popular music lyrics or from musicians' lingo.

Yes, I like some, if you can understand what they are saying, and if they aren't cursing every other word.

Eminem (born Marshall Bruce Mathers III on October 17, 1972) is a Grammy and Academy Award-winning American rapper, actor and record producer.
He was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and was raised in Detroit.
Discovered by rapper and producer Dr. Dre, Eminem became a crossover sensation with his debut single "My Name Is", and earned respect for his lyrical talent. He is noted for his ability to change his vocal pace and style multiple times within one song without losing the beat, and has been praised for his skill in alliteration and assonance.
He is infamous for the controversy surrounding many of his lyrics. With the enormous success of his sophomore album The Marshall Mathers LP following its release in May 2000, and its subsequent nomination for four Grammy awards including Album of the Year, critics such as GLAAD denounced his lyrics as homophobic and misogynist, while others protested that it promoted violence.
His most recent solo album is Curtain Call: The Hits, a compilation covering many of his previous hit songs, in addition to three new tracks. Mathers has stated that he is taking a break from solo work but is in no way retiring, as he continues to produce for and collaborate with Shady/Aftermath and G-Unit artists as well as rappers under his Shady Records label.
To date, Eminem has sold over 74.5 million albums worldwide. [1]
Eminem is also, according to the Guinness World Records, the fastest-selling rap artist.
