does anyone suffer from young age cataract problem

How old are you now? I am asking this question because prognosis of surgery for birth cataract that is congenital or developmental cataract depends on the age at which the surgery is performed.The earlier it is done, the better is the prognosis as the macula which is responsible for the visual acuity remains underdeveloped due to the presence of the cataract and unless the surgery is performed at an early age, it cannot develop properly and so if the surgery is performed at a later age, the macula being underdeveloped, the expected improvement in the visual acuity can never be achieved even if the surgery is 100% successful. So,it is always better if it is done without any delay as far as early possible.
