Are you A Singer?

Nearly anyone who can speak can sing, since in many respects singing is merely sustained speech. It can be informal and just for pleasure, for example, singing in the shower; or it can be very formal, such as singing done professionally as a performance or in a recording studio.
So are you a singer at the amateur level or professional level ?

I love to sing. I love to sing classical music. I like to sing or listen to music any time I am working.

Yes I would agree singing relax me I sing in the shower and listen to it almost everywhere I go.

singing is a ssion with me & i am learning classical music also. M not a v gud singer but i am trying my best to be one.

Sugercane keep it up you will master it soon enough, when i was in high school my music teacher told me I was tone deaf and Now I am asked to sing at church and my husband loves me to sing him to sleep.

Actually i can sing pretty good but i am not a professional singer.Actually i compose songs...so i have to sing sometimes...even while i am playing my musical keyboard or guitar.

Actually i am playing keyboard in a rock band....so i am composing songs for my band.

I think I have a pretty good voice, but I am definitely an amateur singer. My husband and son love to hear me sing, and I sing a lot at home. I think the fact that I didn't train formally has hurt me in that I am sometimes flat (according to those who can read music, unlike me, and can tell the difference). I think it might come from an old habit of mine of trying to sing along even when the music was too high pitched for me. I would adjust the tone in my head so that I could continue singing.
Since I have no plans to shoot for American Idol or anything like that I'm not too worried about it. The two most important men in my life enjoy it, and I love to sing, so I go with it. In fact, my husband maintains that he can tell I'm feeling happy when I'm singing and he reminds me to keep singing pretty regularly.

I do the same thing sing at home and it just hit me to start sing in public so i started with church and looking to do other thing but I don't think it will be America Idol.

I love to sing. I mostly sing for churches, weddings...that sort of thing. But, I did record a CD this past week. I recorded 5 songs and I hope to get it sent out to a lady that sings with the Gaithers soon. I've talked with her and she is really interested in hearing it.
I love to sing for the Lord!

That is wonderful. I am like you I love to sing for the Lord I have not had the nerve to do a CD. The problem I have is I am not a writer only a singing my husband is the writer but I cant get me to write me a song. He says I am to chicken to sing it.
