Have you taken a french before? What did you think of it?

I took french my sophomore year of highschool. I do not see what all the big fuss was about. I personally did not think French was all that great, maybe it was because i had a batty teacher who liked to wear her bed spread to work with larger than life hats.

I took french in jr. high and high school. Its interesting that you mention your teacher being "batty". I had several french teachers throughout junior high and high school and I have to admit that french teachers all seem a bit nuts. I enjoyed learning the language but I haven't had much use for it. Living in California, Spanish would have been a lot more useful.
